East Chicago students honored for reporting teacher accused of having ‘kill list’

EAST CHICAGO, Ind. (WLS) — Two East Chicago college students are being heralded as heroes for reporting an Indiana trainer accused of getting a “kill checklist.”

Angelica Carrasquillo, 25, was faraway from her classroom at Saint Stanislaus Faculty after allegedly saying she had a “kill checklist” concentrating on youngsters and employees.

She has been charged with felony intimidation.

College students Benjamin and Portia acquired the Heroism Award from the East Chicago Police Division after reporting feedback they overheard.

Police mentioned the scholars are the last word examples of the significance of “see one thing, say one thing.”

St. Stanislaus, which is run by the Diocese of Gary, mentioned it is modified all its exterior locks, elevated safety at entrances, retained an out of doors agency to evaluate its security protocols, and closed its weekly Mass to the general public.

Carrasquillo stays at an Indiana jail.
