CTA trains on Red, Brown and Purple Express lines halted on North Side

CHICAGO (WLS) — The CTA has briefly suspended service on a number of prepare traces on the North Facet Thursday morning , the company stated.

Chicago police stated a prepare sign fell onto the CTA tracks within the 900-block of West Belmont Avenue, knocking out energy to the monitor.

Service on the Crimson Line has been briefly suspended between Thorndale and Fullerton. Trains are working between Howard and Thorndale, and between Fullerton and ninety fifth

Brown Line service has been briefly suspended between Southport and Armitage Trains are working between Kimball and Southport, and,between Armitage and the Loop, solely. A shuttle bus from Irving Park to Clark/Lake is accessible.

The Purple Line Specific service has been briefly suspended. Regular Purple Line service between Linden and Howard is continuous.
