CTA Red Line robbery: Man seen violently robbing victim on Chinatown platform, CPD says

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police are searching for a person reportedly seen violently robbing somebody on the Chinatown Crimson Line platform Monday.

Simply after 2:05 p.m., a person was seen forcibly taking property from a CTA rider on the Cermak-Chinatown platform, Chicago police stated.

The sufferer was knocked to the bottom and injured through the battle, in response to CPD.

In a surveillance picture, the person is seen sporting denims, a camouflage jacket and white sneakers.

Anybody with info is requested to name the Bureau of Detectives/Mass Transit at (312)-745-4443.

Earlier this month CPD issued an alert about CTA riders being robbed alongside Cermak Street.
