CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago’s seventieth Annual Columbus Day Parade returns to Chicago on Monday.

The parade, hosted by ABC7’s Val Warner and Ryan Chiaverini, is ready to start at 1 p.m. and run via downtown Chicago. The parade will route via State Avenue to Wacker Drive and Van Buren Avenue.

Earlier than to the parade, the Joint Civic Committee of Italian People will maintain a mass on the Shrine of Our Woman of Pompeii and a wreath laying at Arrigo Park.

Chicago’s Workplace of Emergency Administration and Communications stated street closures and crowds are anticipated.

  • Higher Wacker Drive from Wabash Avenue to Franklin Avenue
  • State Avenue from Kinzie Avenue to Wacker Drive
  • State Avenue from Wacker Drive to Van Buren
  • Van Buren to Congress Parkway
