CHICAGO (WLS) — The primary measurable snow of the season is on the best way for the Chicago space – and the timing will make for a slippery morning commute Tuesday.

The Nationwide Climate Service has issued a Winter Climate Advisory for Chicago and the suburbs from 4 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday.

Snow will develop Tuesday morning within the far south suburbs through the rush hour earlier than spreading north, ABC7 meteorologist Larry Mowry stated.

“By the point the commute is in full swing, so is the snow,” ABC7 meteorologist Tracy Butler stated. “We’re not main accumulations out of this, however the timing is simply horrible.”
