Chicago shooting: Boy, 14, killed, another teen injured in Bronzeville

CHICAGO (WLS) — A 14-year-old boy was killed and a 13-year-old boy was wounded in a taking pictures in Bronzeville Thursday, police stated.

Chicago police stated the 2 victims have been on the sidewalk about 5:40 p.m. within the 600 block of East fortieth Avenue when somebody opened fireplace, placing them each.

The older boy was shot within the chest and brought to the College of Chicago Medical Heart, the place he was pronounced useless, police stated.

The 13-year-old was shot within the buttocks and brought to the identical hospital in good situation, police stated.

Nobody is at the moment in custody. An investigation by Chicago police is ongoing.
