Chicago shooting: 16-year-old boy shot, killed near the Bean, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — A teenage boy was shot and killed close to the Bean on Saturday night time, the Chicago Police Division stated.

The boy, 16 years previous, was within the Loop’s 200 block of East Randolph Road when he was struck by gunfire at about 7:30 p.m., Chicago police stated. He was struck within the chest.

The sufferer was transported to Lurie Youngsters’s Hospital, the place he was pronounced lifeless, police stated.

At the very least two folks of curiosity have been taken in for questioning and no less than two weapons have been recovered, police stated. Space detectives are investigating the capturing.
