Chicago police investigating violent assault in Near West Side McDonald’s

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police are investigating a violent assault that came about inside a McDonald’s on the Close to West Facet.

The incident occurred Tuesday on the McDonald’s close to Western and Warren.

CPD stated a feminine worker, who ABC7 is instructed was not working on the time, approached a 15-year-old boy and began punching him whereas carrying brass knuckles. The teenager was hospitalized for his accidents.

A witness despatched ABC7 Eyewitness Information cellphone video of the incident, which we now have blurred as a result of nobody has been taken into custody or charged within the incident as of this time.

McDonald’s launched an announcement, saying, “The protection and safety of our prospects and crew is our primary precedence. This crew member’s actions, whereas off-the-clock and visiting the restaurant as a buyer throughout this incident, are unacceptable and they’re now not with our group.”
