Chicago fire: Man killed in blaze at Burnside home, CFD officials say

CHICAGO (WLS) — A person was killed in a home hearth on the town’s South Facet on Sunday evening, authorities mentioned.

The hearth broke out at a house within the Burnside neighborhood’s 1100 block of East ninetieth Avenue, the Chicago Fireplace Division mentioned. Fireplace officers responded to the fireplace and studies of an individual trapped inside at 7:25 p.m.

A person was transported to Advocate Trinity Hospital, hearth officers mentioned. He was pronounced lifeless.

The hearth was put out and the trigger is being investigated, CFD mentioned. Authorities haven’t offered additional details about the fireplace.
