5 Chicago high school students surprised with full-ride college scholarships

CHICAGO (WLS) — 5 Chicago highschool college students and their households have been stunned with full-ride scholarships to school Tuesday.

Cboe World Markets awarded the scholarships as a part of its new Cboe Empowers program. This system focuses on offering mentorship, steerage and scholarships to under-resourced college students within the metropolis.

The scholars have been chosen from South and West Facet excessive faculties. The ceremony was held at Cboe headquarters within the Previous Put up Workplace Constructing.
