2 teens killed in Roseland shooting: Chicago police

CHICAGO (WLS) — Two youngsters have died after being discovered with gunshot wounds Thursday morning on Chicago’s Far South Facet, Chicago police mentioned.

A 15-year-old boy and 18-year-old man had been discovered unresponsive within the 11400-block of South Calumet Avenue in Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood about 6:50 a.m., in line with CPD.

One was pronounced deceased on the scene, with a gunshot wound to the top. The opposite was taken to Comer Kids’s Hospital with gunshot wounds to the neck and chest, the place he later died, police mentioned.

The 2 weren’t instantly recognized, and police haven’t but offered any extra details about what led as much as the taking pictures.

Nobody is in custody, and Space Two detectives are investigating the incident.

The double taking pictures got here simply hours after a 17-year-old was discovered gunned down in an alley in Brainerd.
