1 dead, 2 injured after pontoon boat explodes on Wisconsin lake
LaGRANGE, Wis. — Authorities say one man was killed and two others had been injured following an explosion on a pontoon boat in southeastern Wisconsin.
The Walworth County Sheriff’s Workplace says the three males had been putting in a pier on Lauderdale Lake within the city of LaGrange when the explosion occurred about 12:30 p.m. Friday.
Authorities say the person died on the scene. One man was transported to a neighborhood hospital with extreme accidents and one other man was handled at a hospital and launched.
The Walworth County Hazardous Supplies Unit was referred to as on to assist clear up gasoline.
The reason for the explosion is beneath investigation.
The names of the victims haven’t been launched.
