The Major League Baseball team the Athletics played their final games this week in the Oakland Coliseum, which has been their home base in California for the past half-century. They’re expected to relocate to Las Vegas for 2028 at the whim of their billionaire owner, John Fisher, and in the meantime play in a minor-league ballpark in Sacramento.
