‘Survivor: Nicaragua’ Contestant Dan Lembo Dies from Rare Brain Disease at 75
“Survivor: Nicaragua” contestant Dan Lembo has died from a uncommon mind illness … TMZ has discovered.
Emily Lembo, Dan’s daughter-in-law tells TMZ Dan died Sept 3 from an incurable mind dysfunction referred to as progressive supranuclear palsy. We’re advised he battled the illness for six years, and over time, it took an enormous toll on his reminiscence, speech and motor abilities.
Emily says Dan died peacefully at his residence in New York, the place he was surrounded by family members.
‘Survivor’ followers will bear in mind Dan from season 21, which filmed in 2010. Dan made all of it the best way to the ultimate 5 and was voted out on Day 37. Dan was a profitable businessman and wore costly alligator sneakers through the competitors.
Emily says he beloved being on the present and getting acknowledged on the road — he was very outgoing and might be remembered for his larger-than-life persona.
He was 75.
