In an effort to promote heart health and encourage physical activity, Orangetheory Fitness is offering donation-based classes in association with the American Heart Association (AHA). This initiative not only aligns with the focus on heart health in February but also stands as a testament to Orangetheory’s commitment to public health and the AHA’s mission.

Orangetheory Fitness and American Heart Association: A Powerful Alliance

Recognized as a national Life is Why supporter, Orangetheory Fitness has pledged its support to the American Heart Association’s mission. This partnership aims to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death in the United States, and the importance of regular checkups, the knowledge of individual risk factors, and lifestyle changes like a healthy diet and regular exercise to mitigate the risk.

Donation-Based Classes: Fitness for a Cause

The donation-based classes are not just a medium to raise funds for heart disease research and prevention but are also a platform encouraging members to participate and contribute to the cause. Trained by experienced fitness trainers, these classes are designed to be suitable for all fitness levels. From beginners to fitness enthusiasts, everyone can partake in these classes and contribute to a healthier heart.

Event Details and What to Expect

Orangetheory Fitness is hosting the donation-based class on February 17, 2024, at 30676 Detroit Rd. In addition, other locations like Palm Desert and New Haven are also organizing similar events. The New Haven studio, which is partnering with the American Heart Association for the fifth year, will host a 90-minute workout class on February 18th. Non-members are also welcome to join these classes.

The workout routine includes tracking heart rate during classes and using equipment like the rowing machine, which is low-impact and known for burning a high number of calories. Participants can expect an exhilarating workout that not only benefits their heart health but also contributes to a noble cause.
