Financing an power transition raises many questions for stakeholders. Methods to develop a challenge proposal that might appeal to funding? What funding sources must be thought of? Can private and non-private, native and worldwide financing sources be successfully mixed – and what are the explanations for mixing them? The fourth webinar inside the sequence ‘Simply power transitions within the Western Balkans and Ukraine’ will take a look at financing alternatives for power transitions and listen to reflections and classes learnt from a regional perspective.

Background

The webinar sequence “Simply power transitions within the Western Balkans and Ukraine” is a part of the Initiative for coal areas in transition within the Western Balkans and Ukraine.

From March till July 2023, the webinars will discover alternatives and classes learnt on the way in which to the coal phase-out. In contemplating find out how to make a simply power transition a actuality, the sequence takes a coal area’s viewpoint and analyses examples from the EU, Western Balkans, and Ukraine. Every webinar will function a number of consultants engaged on implementing simply power transitions, together with representatives from the coal areas in focus.
