NTPC’s Second-Quarter Profit Fell on Higher Fuel, Finance Costs

NTPC Ltd.’s fiscal second-quarter web revenue fell 7.3% on yr as larger gasoline and finance prices offset a steep rise in income.

The New Delhi-based energy firm posted web revenue of 33.38 billion rupees ($405.6 million) within the quarter ended September, down from INR35.99 billion in the identical interval a yr earlier, it mentioned Saturday.
