Japan finance minister calls for permanent funding sources for defense budget

TOKYO, Nov 22 (Reuters) – Japan should safe everlasting financing sources to extend protection spending by reviewing income and expenditure, and additional reform spending in coming years, Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki stated on Tuesday.

“If there is a scarcity of financing sources, we might want to take into account a number of methods together with taxation following deliberations at an professional panel and ruling bloc,” Suzuki instructed reporters.
