Investors brace for Fed decision, AMD jumps on earnings: Yahoo Finance
Wall Street has its attention focused on Washington today. The Federal Reserve is set to announce its latest decision on interest rates at 2:00 p.m. ET. Investors are widely expecting the Fed to leave rates unchanged, but they will be watching Fed Chairman Jerome Powell’s comments at the press conference closely for any signs that a cut will be coming in September.
