‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ first trailer is here with new music from Taylor Swift | CNN

The long-anticipated trailer for the film model of “The place the Crawdads Sing” has arrived.

“Regular Folks” star Daisy Edgar-Jones is featured within the adaptation of Delia Owens’ hit 2018 novel. Taylor Swift’s new track “Carolina” is featured within the trailer.

Edgar-Jones performs Kya, a lady left by her household to fend for herself within the North Carolina marshes. As she lives a personal life, she falls for a neighborhood boy she is then accused of killing.

“Being remoted was one factor; being hunted, fairly one other,” says in a voiceover within the trailer.

Swift posted the information of the music to Instagram on Tuesday, including that she beloved the guide.

“As quickly as I heard there was a movie within the works starring the unimaginable @daisyedgarjones and produced by the good @reesewitherspoon, I knew I needed to be part of it from the musical aspect,” she wrote. “I wrote the track ‘Carolina’ alone and requested my buddy @aarondessner to provide it. I needed to create one thing haunting and ethereal to match this mesmerizing story.”

She added, “You’ll hear it absolutely quickly, however for now try the @crawdadsmovie trailer for a clip!”

Reese Witherspoon’s Good day Sunshine produced “Crawdads.”
