Rihanna’s first solo new music in six years is out and tugging at heartstrings.

“Elevate Me Up” from the “Black Panther: Wakanda Ceaselessly” soundtrack was launched Friday. The track is already a success along with her trustworthy fan base, referred to as Rihanna’s Navy.

The singer teased the discharge of the track on Wednesday. Inside an hour of her posting the 14-second teaser, there have been greater than 70,000 tweets generated about it, in line with Twitter.

The brand new track begins with Rihanna buzzing the melody earlier than she launches into the emotional lyrics.

Rihanna additionally debuted a transferring music video for the track on Friday, that includes scenes from the film.

The track was written by Rihanna, fellow artist Tems, Oscar winner Ludwig Göransson and “Black Panther” director Ryan Coogler as a tribute to the late “Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman.

Boseman died in 2020 at age 43 following a non-public battle with colon most cancers.

There’s already loads of response to the track on social media, together with one one who threw in a hopeful prediction by tweeting, “simply completed listening to rihanna’s future oscar profitable track carry me up.”

“Black Panther: Wakanda Ceaselessly – Music From and Impressed By” shall be launched on November 4 and the movie hits theaters per week later.
