Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar, directed by Meher Ramesh, has hit theatres today. The film stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. Ardent fans of the megastar rushed to theatres to watch the FDFS of Bholaa Shankar in cinema halls. But looks like the film hasn’t managed to live up to the expectations. The film has reportedly opened up to mixed reviews.

Several netizens who watched Bholaa Shankar in the theatres shared their reviews on social media. While the actor’s fans are celebrating watching him on the big screen, many happened to point out the simple fact that the film lacks story, direction, and other things. The biggest aspect that fans have loved about the film is Chiranjeevi’s performance, swag, and screen presence from the 60s. Seems like the Telugu remake has failed to impress the audiences when compared to the blockbuster reports of Ajith Kumar’s Vedalam. However, it is being said that the action sequences and the sister sentiment in the Telugu film have gotten a special shot out from movie buffs.

Tamannaah Bhatia is the leading lady opposite the megastar while Keerthy Suresh essays the role of Chiranjeevi’s sister. Sushanth is essaying the role of a very special lover boy role in the film. The film’s background soundtrack and music created by Mahathi Swara Sagar are another plus point. Chiranjeevi, who is known for his dancing skills has surely struck a chord with the audiences. While it’s too early to decide if Bholaa Shankar is a hit or a flop as only the first show has been out now, it is to be noted that Vedalam is the highest-grossing film in Tamil.
