Janelle Monáe confirms that they’re nonbinary

“I am nonbinary,” Monáe mentioned in an look this week on “Crimson Desk Discuss,” the Fb collection co-hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith. “So I do not see myself as a lady, solely. Monáe has beforehand confirmed that they determine as pansexual, which suggests they’re drawn to folks no matter gender or intercourse.
Willow Smith, Pinkett Smith’s daughter, requested Monáe on “Crimson Desk Discuss” about what motivated them to come back out publicly.
