Genesee County man accused of offering cryptocurrency in murder-for-hire plot takes plea

FLINT, MI – A Genesee County man accused of offering cryptocurrency to others to entice them to inflict harm or even possibly kill a business partner has pleaded no contest to a reduced charge.

Steven Christopher Craven pleaded no contest Tuesday, Aug. 1, to an amended charge of attempted assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.
