Brush fire breaks out in Sepulveda Pass
LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – Firefighters were battling a brush fire off the 405 Freeway late Wednesday evening that prompted evacuation orders.
Crews with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of the 1-acre blaze, dubbed the Sepulveda Fire, near the Getty Center Drive exit at 11 p.m. as it was burning in medium to heavy brush and quickly spread to an estimated 10 acres.

Evacuation warnings were issued for residents south of the 1500 block of Casiano Road, north of Moraga Drive, east of Sepulveda Boulevard and west of Chalon Road, according to L.A. City Emergency Alerts.
Aerial footage from Sky5 showed a heavy glow in the sky as flames burned in the Getty Pass, north of the Getty Center.
Crews on the ground and in the air were working to contain the blaze as flames moved up hill in what’s been reported as 10 mile per hour winds.
So far, no evacuation orders or warnings have issued, as it does not appear that any structures are currently threatened.
The cause of the fire is unknown.

A hospital needs help identifying a male patient who was found injured and unconscious in downtown Los Angeles.
The man is believed to be in his 30s, according to the Los Angeles General Medical Center.
He was found injured on the ground on Omar Street and has been hospitalized since June 22.
He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 176 pounds. He has brown eyes, dark brown hair and tattoos across his upper body.
He did not have any personal belongings to help staff identify him or contact loved ones. Workers did not disclose the nature of his injuries.
