Cardinals Bring Back Former DL
ARIZONA — The Arizona Cardinals are bringing a familiar face back to the facility.
Per the team’s media relations department:
“The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has signed defensive lineman Angelo Blackson to the practice squad and has released defensive lineman Tyler Manoa from the practice squad.”
Manoa was inked to the practice squad last week before being released today.
Arizona’s defensive line struggled in their Week 1 opener against the Buffalo Bills, and while this is only a practice squad move, perhaps some extra competition can be aded with Blackson’s presence.
More on his re-arrival via the Cardinals:
“Blackson (6-4, 318) returns to the Cardinals after he played 16 games (nine starts) with the team in 2020 when he had 24 tackles, 2.5 sacks, eight quarterback hits and four tackles for loss. A 10-year NFL veteran, Blackson has played with the Jaguars (2023), Beras (2021-22), Cardinals (2020), Texans (2017-19) and Titans (2015-16) after entering the league in the 2015 NFL Draft with Tennessee as a fourth-round selection (100th overall) from Auburn.
“For his career, Blackson has appeared in 128 games (42 starts) and has 179 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 27 quarterback hits, 17 tackles for loss, eight passes defensed, one interception, four fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. He played in 11 games with Jacksonville last season and spent the preseason with Denver.
“Blackson will wear jersey #90.”
The Cardinals are back home this week to face the Los Angeles Rams at State Farm Stadium.
While no defensive lineman appeared to suffer injuries last week, cornerback Max Melton is currently going through concussion protocol while right tackle Jonah Williams’ knee status is still unknown after exiting in the first half against Buffalo.

Bryce James to redshirt for Arizona Wildcats basketball
Here’s what you need to know about the University of Arizona
UA was established in 1885, and its main campus is in Tucson. The Wildcats once had a live bobcat named Rufus as a mascot.
The Republic
Bryce James, the son of NBA great LeBron James, is going to redshirt his freshman season at Arizona.
Arizona coach Tommy Lloyd said the decision is a “long play” for Bryce James, who has yet to play for the No. 1-ranked Wildcats.
“I have strong beliefs that Bryce will be a contributor at Arizona in the near future,” Lloyd said in an interview with the Big 12 Network. “He’s really shown a lot of progress, not only learning our system, but just physically maturing.”
James is a 6-foot-5-inch guard. He is the younger brother of Bronny James, who plays on the Lakers with their father.
The Wildcats (22-0) welcomed a freshman class that includes two players — Koa Peat and Brayden Burries — who are appearing in NBA mock drafts.

Arizona’s Bradley Lands on Prestigious Top 10 List
Arizona Wildcats guard Jaden Bradley continues to rack up the accolades, landing on another midseason award watch list earlier this week.
Bradley landed on the Bob Cousy Award Mid-Season Top 10 list. The Bob Cousy Award is handed out to the nation’s top collegiate men’s point guard. So far this season, Bradley has more than earned his distinction on the list.
Outstanding balanced numbers
He’s averaging 13.9 points, and 4.5 assists per game, while shooting 50 percent from the floor, and 44 percent from three-point range as the leader of the Wildcats offense. He has helped propel Arizona to the top of the AP Poll, where they have sat for the past eight weeks.
Now in his third season with Arizona, Bradley has blossomed into one of the best guards in the country, and his efforts are now being recognized on a global scale.
Bradley has also seen his name appear on the Wooden Award Top 25 Watch list earlier this season. He joined his teammate Koa Peat on the watch list for the award handed out to the most outstanding men’s basketball player.
He’s been key to Arizona’s record-breaking 22-0 season up to this point, helping the Wildcats earn 9 Quad 1 wins so far, and wins over six ranked teams along the way. The Wildcats have tied their program-record for the longest winning streak, and have broken their previous record for the best start to a season since 2013-14.
Clutch performer
Bradley has had a knack for hitting timely shots in crunch time, acting as a closer for Arizona down the stretch of games. He, along with veterans Tobe Awaka, and Anthony Dell’Orso have given an Arizona team full of star freshmen — such as Brayden Burries and Koa Peat — an experienced presence that has proven valuable this season.
Bradley has scored in double-digits 16 times this season, including four 20-point performances. His recent performance on Jan. 26 against #13 BYU was one of his most impressive of the season. Bradley scored 26 points on 10-15 shooting, with 3 assists and 3 rebounds in the thrilling 86-83 win.
As the season enters the final stretch leading into the NCAA Tournament, Bradley will look to lead the Wildcats to a deep run in this year’s edition of the tournament after an exit in the Sweet Sixteen last season. Filled with plenty of talent up and down the roster, Arizona is more than capable of competing for their second national title in program history.

Arizona detectives seek photos, videos in Nancy Guthrie search
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department continued to ask for the public’s help in finding missing 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie as the search for the mother of NBC “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie neared its third day near her Tucson home.
“At this point, investigators believe she was taken from the home against her will, possibly in the middle of the night. Taken against her will includes possible kidnapping or abduction,” Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said earlier in the day.
Investigators have teamed up with the FBI and U.S. Border Patrol while detectives went door-to-door asking neighbors for any helpful information or images from home security cameras. The department is also trying to find any traffic camera footage that might explain where Guthrie went.
“Our department has established a Tip Line QR code to streamline the sharing of information. Through this link, https://pimasheriff.evidence.com/axon/community-request/public/nancy-guthrie, members of the public can directly submit photos or videos that may be helpful to the investigation,” Pima County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Angelica Carillo said in an emailed news release in the evening of Feb. 2.
Savannah Guthrie issued a brief statement on behalf of her family on the “Today” show in the morning.
“I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers and messages of support,” she said. “Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom.”
She thanked law enforcement officials and encouraged anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, which advised the public to call 911 or this number: 520-351-4900.
Her mother was described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. It was unknown what clothing she might be wearing.
She was last seen on the evening of Jan. 31, 2026, about 9:30 p.m. at her residence near Skyline Drive and Campbell Avenue in the Catalina Foothills part of metro Tucson.
