Deputies shoot person in West Hollywood
Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department shot a person in West Hollywood on Saturday, authorities confirmed.
According to LASD Public Information Officer Veronica Fantom, the shooting happened at about 5:45 p.m. An exact location was not immediately made available.
It was not clear whether the person shot was armed or if they also fired shots toward the deputies. The person was transported to a local hospital, where their condition is unknown as of 8:55 p.m.
All deputies were accounted for, Fantom said. It was unclear whether any other injuries were sustained.

Hospital needs help identifying man found unconscious in downtown Los Angeles
A hospital needs help identifying a male patient who was found injured and unconscious in downtown Los Angeles.
The man is believed to be in his 30s, according to the Los Angeles General Medical Center.
He was found injured on the ground on Omar Street and has been hospitalized since June 22.
He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 176 pounds. He has brown eyes, dark brown hair and tattoos across his upper body.
He did not have any personal belongings to help staff identify him or contact loved ones. Workers did not disclose the nature of his injuries.
