Greater Nevada Credit Union awards $60K in higher education scholarships

Better Nevada Credit score Union has awarded 30 Nevada college students with scholarships to proceed their tutorial pursuits by means of the GNCU Scholarship Program.

Since its inception in 2000, GNCU’s scholarship program has helped over 375 college students pursue their academic objectives, awarding almost $550,000 in whole scholarships through the years.

She plans to graduate from Western Nevada School with an affiliate diploma in December 2022 and switch to the College of Nevada, Reno to pursue a bachelor’s in elementary schooling. She hopes to grow to be a trainer to “assist the following technology of scholars.”

The Scholarship Program is a part of the GNCU dedication to permit members to Dwell Better. All GNCU members and their households are eligible to use. Scholarship winners are chosen based mostly on monetary want, tutorial efficiency, group involvement, and academic/skilled objectives.
