Man changes plea to guilty in fatal beating of Hawaii Island senior
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A manslaughter suspect accused of fatally beating a senior on Hawaii Island has modified his plea to responsible.
Officers stated Daniel Watai-Simeona assaulted Menry Mendoza final December on Henry Avenue.
The 64-year-old sufferer was flown to Oahu for remedy, however later died.
Watai-Simeona faces as much as 20 years in jail.
He’s scheduled to be sentenced in August.
