Mild midday temperatures and light breezes mark Denver’s forecast Tuesday, with the chance of frosty temperatures at night later in the week.
Denver residents can expect mostly sunny skies with highs near 70 degrees and winds between 7 to 14 mph, the National Weather Service in Boulder predicted.
Snow dusting and cooler temperatures threaten higher elevations throughout the week particularly above 6,000 feet before the forecast shifts again, according to a hazardous weather outlook from the agency.
“A warming trend is expected this weekend but continued dry conditions,” the warning read.
More cloud cover is expected to move into Denver overnight with temperatures dropping to 45 degrees with more mild and occasionally gusty breezes.
