COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A shelter-in-place alert was activated for a neighborhood simply northeast of Palmer Park in Colorado Springs Tuesday evening.

At about 10:20 p.m. the next message was despatched out to residents residing in an space near N. Academy Boulevard and Half Flip Street:

“That is the Colorado Springs Police Division with an emergency message. At this time is 06-28-2022. There’s police exercise associated to a barricaded suspect within the space of 3800 Half Flip Rd.You’re requested to remain indoors; please lock and steer clear of home windows and doorways. Please keep out of the speedy space till additional discover. CSPD will ship an all clear message when applicable.”
