DETROIT – A WWII seaman from Detroit who died when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor has been recognized.

Tceollyar Simmons, 18, was recognized in November 2021, however the Protection POW/MIA Accounting Company (DPAA) made the official announcement on Tuesday.
