Cardinals climb 5 spots in power rankings despite loss to Texans

The Arizona Cardinals were unable to complete the comeback on Sunday, losing to the Houston Texans 21-16 on the road. Despite the loss, the vibe surrounding the team is different.

That is noted in the latest NFL power rankings entering Week 12 from Touchdown Wire’s Jarrett Bailey.

Even with the loss, the Cardinals moved up for the second straight week, sliding up five spots from No. 29 to No. 24 overall.

This is a much different team with Kyler Murray under center. They won’t make the playoffs, but I’m very excited for the 2024 Arizona Cardinals.

At 2-9, they have the record of a bad team. They play like a team fighting for something. They’re not a good team yet. But the future is promising.
