Lund, Virginia Ann of Eden Prairie, MN handed away peacefully surrounded by household on April 14th on the age of 86, at her residence in Scottsdale, AZ. Previous to her passing, Virginia hosted one final household gathering full of laughter and love. She stated it was the perfect Easter of her life. Virginia was born on December eleventh, 1936 in Hampton, Iowa to Oscar and Muriel Van Sant. She attended Cedar Falls Excessive Faculty (the place she met her husband Ronald Lund) and the College of Northern Iowa. She is survived by her husband Ronald Lund, her brother, William Van Sant (Marilyn), daughters Lisa Lund (Jim Camarata), Mary McNabb (Todd), and Sandi Niederluecke (Kurt), her grandchildren Emily McNabb (Ginny Too), Abby McNally (Andrew), Carl Numrich (Carly), John Numrich, Patrick McNabb (Hayley), Max Niederluecke (Lauren), Berit Niederluecke and Lindsay Hicks (Trevor) and great-grandchildren Jack McToo, Clara McToo, Oscar McToo, Margot McNally, Miles McNally, Madeline Numrich and Cora Hicks, her caretaker and particular buddy, Freda Morel, many nieces and nephews, and naturally, her fixed companion and furry buddy (the miniature schnauzer) Winnie III. Funeral companies can be held on Friday, April 28 at Normandale Lutheran Church, 6100 Normandale Rd, Edina, MN. Visitation can be held at 1:30 pm with a service at 2:30 PM.
