South Carolina baseball begins its SEC Tournament run on Tuesday with the opening game of the tournament in Hoover, Alabama against Georgia.

The Gamecocks can secure an NCAA Tournament regional host spot with a strong week in Hoover, but will have a long road.

D1Baseball.com’s latest NCAA Tournament projection has South Carolina as the 2-seed in the Conway Regional with host Coastal Carolina, NC State and UNC Wilmington.
