Florida beats out Auburn, South Carolina for 2024 OL out of Germany
Florida picked up an intriguing commitment in the class of 2024 on Wednesday.
The Gators earned a pledge from offensive lineman Noel Portnjagin. He’s a German-based prospect who also has offers from Auburn and South Carolina.
Here’s his announcement:

Portnjagin has gone somewhat under-the-radar to this point in his recruitment, which can often happen with international prospects. He does not have a 247Sports Composite rating at the time of his commitment.
He’s picked up all of his SEC offers in the last 2 weeks. He was at Florida for a camp back on June 5 and earned an offer from the Gators.
Portnjagin lists himself at 6-foot-5, 330 pounds. He’s projected to play on the interior offensive line at the next level.
Florida now has 9 commits in the class of 2024. Portnjagin is the 2nd offensive line prospect to join the class, alongside 3-star OL Mike Williams. UF’s class sits at No. 21 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
