2 children dead, 1 adult injured in Easter crash in Orangeburg County

BOWMAN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – Two kids have died after an Easter automotive collision on U.S. Freeway 178 in Orangeburg County.

In accordance with the South Carolina Freeway Patrol, the crash occurred at 5:05 p.m.

A 2017 GMC Terrain was touring east on U.S. Freeway 178, when it exited the highway on the appropriate facet. The car then struck a ditch and a tree, in line with the South Carolina Freeway Patrol.

A 27-year-old male was injured within the crash and brought to the hospital.

Two kids, ages 3 and 6, are each deceased.

The crash is below investigation by the South Carolina Freeway Patrol.
