GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) – A number of warming shelters are open Friday evening as South Mississippi reaches freezing temperatures.

As frigid temperatures sweep throughout the Gulf Coast, many want a spot to put their heads from the cruel winter circumstances.

Friday stated that is the second evening the Salvation Military Middle for Hope will host a warming shelter.
