Sheriff: 7, mainly from Hialeah and Miami, accused in ‘sophisticated’ check fraud ring
MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies arrested six males and one girl, largely from Miami-Dade County, in an “ongoing test fraud investigation” within the Florida Keys, officers introduced Thursday.
Adam Linhardt, a spokesperson for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Workplace, described the accused schemers as a part of a “a well-organized and complex fraud group working all through the Florida Keys.”
“The investigation started in November 2022 after Detectives seen a legal sample relating to a number of test fraud instances, which led to seven suspects being recognized and the invention of greater than $175,000 stolen in 57 cases,” he mentioned. “The suspects have been intercepting checks within the mail and fraudulently depositing them into different financial institution accounts.”
The next suspects confronted expenses within the case:
-
Yanierki Frances Abreu, 39, of Miami
-
Adalberto Bello Vega, 33, of Hialeah

Wild photos show Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs eating food of a naked woman at one of his celeb-packed parties
Wild, newly resurfaced photos show accused sex trafficker Sean “Diddy” Combs eating food off a naked woman from one of his notorious celeb-packed parties.
The disgraced Bad Boy Records founder, then 34, was seen eating a chocolate-covered strawberry from the body of a nude woman, who was lying on a table with food stacked on and around her, the snaps first obtained by TMZ show.
Aside from the food, only a strategically placed green leaf covered the naked woman’s most intimate area.
The photos were taken at a 2004 Miami party with a star-studded crowd including Diana Ross, Owen Wilson, Bruce Willis, and Will Smith, all of whom appeared unfazed by the racy food display.
The splashy party is a far cry from Combs’ current accommodation — at the notoriously tough Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, where he has been held without bail since his Sept. 16 arrest on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
A damning federal indictment alleged that the rapper abused, threatened, and coerced women to “fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.”
The allegations against Combs — who was caught on video brutally beating ex-girlfriend CassieVentura — go back to at least 2008, the documents said.
When federal agents raided Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles earlier this year, they found 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lube that were allegedly used during “freak off” sex sessions.
Combs’ lawyer, however, said his client simply preferred to buy in bulk from the chain store Costco.
The rap mogul has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and is eager to testify at trial, his legal team said.
