Road to Kentucky Derby 2023: Standings after 22 points preps

Saturday’s Grade 2 Insurgent Stakes moved 4 horses into the highest 20 on the Kentucky Derby 2023 leaderboard.
Confidence Sport picked up 50 factors for the upset win and now’s in first place on the board with 57. Runner-up Crimson Route One now’s in fourth place, Reincarnate is No. 14 and Verifying, the favourite for the Insurgent who completed fourth, now’s No. 16 on the record.
Bourbon Bash, who picked up 5 factors for ending fifth, joins the record at No. 30.
The highway to the Kentucky Derby has moved into what is perhaps referred to as the knockout stage.
With a lot of the remaining factors qualifiers providing 50 or 100 factors to the winners, the highest of the leaderboard will probably be altering from week to week. Winners of these races, and runners-up within the greatest factors preps, will probably be nearly assured a slot within the Derby subject.
