Tropical Storm Nicole: Evacuation orders announced as storm moves toward Florida
As Floridians put together for the potential impacts of Tropical Storm Nicole, native emergency administration officers are beginning to announce evacuation orders.
Volusia County
A compulsory evacuation order will go into impact on Wednesday, Nov. 9 starting at 9 a.m. for the next Volusia County residents:
- Residents who reside east of the Intracoastal Waterway
- Cellular and manufactured residence dwellers east of Interstate 95
- Residents who reside in low-lying areas and different areas liable to flooding
- Residents of any campsites and RV parks
Evacuees are inspired to stick with household or pals, a lodging institution or a resort.
Brevard County
The Brevard County Emergency Administration Workplace recommends evacuation orders for the next space beginning Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 7 a.m.:
- Residents who reside on the barrier islands, together with areas from Kennedy Area Heart south seashores, and Merritt Island
- Residents in cellular houses or manufactured housing
- Residences in low-lying, flood-prone areas
