A high-profile tower near the Galleria Dallas has landed a big tenant.
Making a move to the 24-story Pinnacle Tower is New York Life Insurance, which is leasing nearly 24,000 square feet of office space. The 37-year-old high-rise is at the northwest corner of one of the region’s busiest intersections – the Dallas North Tollway and LBJ Freeway.
The lease will allow New York Life to “create an office environment to exceed their goals and foster collaboration for years to come,” Stream Realty’s Chase Lopez said in a statement. Stream negotiated the deal with Andy Leatherman of Jones Lang LaSalle.
New York Life Insurance has had offices in North Dallas on Merit Drive near North Central Expressway and on Greenville Avenue.
The Pinnacle Tower contains 570,000 square feet and opened in 1986. The building recently got more than $9 million in upgrades. New York Life is an investor in the property.
In the last year, the tower has added several major tenants. Dallas law firm Haynes and Boone leased more than 11,000 square feet of office space. Huselton, Morgan & Maultsby and USAA Real Estate also took space in the Farmers Branch high-rise.
