Police searching for 2 robbery suspects in south Austin

The Austin Police Division (APD) is trying to find two theft suspects.

Police stated on June 21 at 7:50 a.m., a theft occurred on the Residence Depot situated at 8801 S IH 35 SVRD NB.

One of many males approached a retailer worker working the self-checkout on the Residence Depot to distract the worker by handing her cash. The lads approached the exit door the place the worker was standing and hit the worker with objects stolen from the shop. The worker fell to the bottom and was injured in the course of the scuffle.

The lads left in a 2012 Honda Accord with an unknown state license plate.

One suspect was described as 18-21-years previous, 5’10, sporting a black hoodie, black pants with black and white Crocs.

The second suspect was described as 18-21-years previous, sporting a blue shirt, gentle blue denims and blue boonie hat.
