South Dakota Republican Gov. Kristi Noem on Tuesday signed laws that repeals all hid carry allow charges within the state.

“Three years in the past, I took a daring stand by signing constitutional carry into legislation to make sure there have been no limitations between South Dakotans and their rights,” Noem instructed Fox Information Digital. “This week, I took the step to take away a monetary barrier. It should not price you a penny to train your Second Modification rights. Authorities exists to guard our rights, not revenue from them.”

The Nationwide Rifle Affiliation Institute for Legislative Motion mentioned the measure, Senate Invoice 212, “reduces the price of South Dakota carry permits to $0.”

“SB 212 permits those that want to use South Dakota’s reciprocity agreements with different states to achieve this and never be closely burdened by what is basically a tax on their proper to self-defense,” the NRA-ILA wrote.
