On Thursday night, vandals spray-painted the monuments on the Backyard of Heroes on the Rhode Island State Home West Garden.
The Veterans of Overseas Wars of Rhode Island, upon listening to in regards to the vandalism Friday, provided to assist clear up the mess and restore the monuments that honor all branches of the navy.
