Melillo told GoLocal he had placed the order on Thursday from “Naz’s” for the first time, and the response by the driver prompted him to make the post.

Hundreds of comments were left on the article alone, and by Sunday night, there were ninety thousand comments on his TikTok post, ranging from support for his complaint. to calling Melillo out for being a “cheap” tipper.

“It really was a question about in the future, should I be doing more?” said Melillo, who went to Prout and then URI.

“I’m learning from DoorDash. Maybe you should be tipping on the mileage,” he added.
