Women’s Rowing Battles at Dad Vail Regatta – University of Connecticut Athletics
PHILADELPHIA – With one last weekend of races left within the season, the UConn ladies’s rowing group put forth a powerful effort on the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta, held Friday by means of Saturday on the Schuylkill River.
The Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta is the most important collegiate regatta in the USA, with over 100 faculties and Universities from the U.S. and Canada. Hundreds of pupil athletes collect to compete in the course of the weekend of the second Saturday of Could. Races started on Friday and continued by means of Saturday.
This weekend marked the second time the Huskies raced on the Schuykill River, as they beforehand competed on the Head of the Schuykill final October.
