EU blacklists 21 Russian airlines over ‘serious safety concerns’
Brussels (CNN) — The European Union has blacklisted 21 Russian-certified airways, together with nationwide service Aeroflot, over “severe security considerations.”
The transfer, which prohibits the airways from getting into EU airspace, comes after Russia’s try to beat sanctions imposed within the wake of its invasion of Ukraine.
In doing so, the EU mentioned Russia was intentionally permitting foreign-owned plane to proceed to fly with out assembly security requirements.
