Veterans Day ceremony held at Wisconsin Capitol
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Veterans Day was noticed Friday morning throughout a ceremony within the Wisconsin Capitol rotunda, with the theme this yr being “honor.”
Gov. Tony Evers was in attendance and reaffirmed his dedication to supporting veterans and their family members.
“The state is proud to be a key associate within the work to assist make sure that every of those people and their households will be profitable each throughout their time of service and following their re-entry into civilian life,” Evers stated.
The ceremony was led by the Wisconsin Division of Veterans Affairs and the Madison Veterans Council. It concluded with a second of silence.
