North Dakota Highway Patrol vehicle hit by drunk driver

MORTON COUNTY, N.D. (KFYR) – Nobody was damage after a drunk driver hit a North Dakota Freeway Patrol automobile with the trooper inside, in keeping with the patrol.

The crash occurred after 1 a.m. Sunday whereas the trooper was on the street closure gate west of Mandan on I-94.

In accordance with a spokesperson with the NDHP, the trooper noticed the automobile coming quick and moved the squad automobile to keep away from a direct head-on crash and was aspect swiped. The drunk driver then drove by way of the street closure gates.

The Morton County Sheriff’s Division arrested the driving force for DUI.
